The range committee is planning another range clean up and work day at the old range this Sunday, June 25th after the last date fell through. We have a lot of brush that needs to be cleaned, some trees to be de-limbed, and general spring cleaning of the range. We will have 2 dump trucks and an excavator on site to remove the brush and logs. If a couple of members with experience could bring out their chainsaws that would help a lot. We will also need rakes and other clean up tools.
This will be the first of many work days this year, but most will be at the new range helping to get everything ready to be shooting hopefully by next spring. This will be a great opportunity for you to come out and meet other members of the club and do your part to upkeep the club. Any help would be greatly appreciated even if you can only show up for a bit.
As many of you may know Greg and Angela Brule our current VP and Treasure of the club will be moving from Revelstoke soon. We will be cooking up a BBQ at the end of the day with burgers, drinks and a cake to thank them for their service to the club and wish them the best in their future endeavors.
Please RSVP with me (Rob Winters) either via replying to this email or calling me directly @ 250-814-7655. This is very important so we can plan accordingly for food afterwards.
Also we are looking for people who are interested in being on the call list for helping with the new range.
Thanks and look forward to seeing you all out there,
